I have been putting this page together to store some information about the 1970 Dodge
Charger. All the information you can find here can be found somewhere else on the
internet. But I just thought let's put it in anyway. Because another source would only
make it easier to find the information for other people. If you have any additional

History
For three years in a row now the Charger has not been redesigned. Of course for the
model year 1970 there were a few changes. But nothing real drastic. This is the year the
high impact colors became available. Other changes that were made are the wrap around the
grille bumper, the rear taillight panel was changed, the interior was renewed with for
example the high back bucked seats. Also there now was a special feature for the R/T, it
now not only had different badges it came with a R/T side scoop.
Another step forward for 1970 was that this is the first year that the 440 6 pack engine
came available for the Charger. So far for the short piece of history.
