Welcome to the 1971 Dodge Charger pageeenplaaaaatje.jpg (133803 bytes)

I gathered some information from the internet for this page. But first I would like to thank all the great people that hang around www.dodge-charger.com for all their help with this website. If you have even been looking for information about the third generation Charger you might have noticed, that for some reason these cars are not as wanted as the 1st and 2nd generation Chargers. I hope you like the information that is gathered here.

History

If you have been looking at pictures you see that the 1971 model is completely different from the 1970. The Chargers had become more aerodynamic. And with a large scale of engine options as well as other options you could choose whatever fitted in you budget. There were a lot of different model Chargers made: the Charger R/T, the Superbee, the Charger SE, the Charger 500, the Charger Hardtop and of course the normal Charger (Coupe). Though this was going to be the last year that the famous Charger R/T, Charger Superbee and the Hemi engine were going to be produced. Thanks for taking your time reading this small piece of history.
