Welcome to the 1972 Dodge Charger page
This is just a simple page with some of the basic information there is about the 1972
Dodge Chargers. All this information can be found elsewhere on the internet and may not be
very original. But I worked hard on the page and think it turned out pretty good. There
are still some pieces missing in the big puzzle, but I'll find them. I hope you enjoy the
information so far.
History
This is the second year the third generation Chargers were made. The model didn't
change much from the 1971 Dodge Charger, the Charger R/T and Superbee are gone now and the
Hemi is no longer available. However there did came out a new optional trim package called
"Rallye". There are some small changed between the 1971 and 1972 Dodge Chargers.
The most noticable exterior change is that there is a new designed sidemarker. The biggest
changes however happened under the hood.
